August 2007

It has been for some time now that we have been talking about the next recording.

Now we have more details for you:

The band will record the first album in January 08 in Chicago, at the Electrical Audio studio
(Steve Albini's studio) with Bob Weston (Shellac, Mission of Burma) as the sound engineer
and Rick Harte as the producer.

This album will be released by the legendary Ace of Hearts label.
www.aceofheartsrecords.com

"Ace of Hearts released terrific albums by the aforementioned bands and others, but it's really
the 25 tunes here that had the most impact. In particular, Mission of Burma's "Academy Fight
Song" backed with "Max Ernst" and the Lyres' "I Want to Help You Ann" with "I Really Want
You Right Now" had nationwide repercussions, fueling the post-punk era and the second coming
of garage rock."

Ted Drozdowski, The Phoenix

This album means a lot for the band who thanks Rick Harte for his faith in Heat From a DeadStar.

Another remix of one of our songs is available now. The remix of "Black Swans" by Fear Falls

Heat From a DeadStar's lineup has recently changed with the come back of one
of the first drummers who joined the band, Jln.

If the spirit of HFADS is not going to be altered in any way, the interpretation as
well as the compositions can only benefit from the presence of a new drummer,
moreover if this drummer is "fitting in".

HFADS (in its finalised form) will play on April 10th in London. If you're curious
to see how it sounds like, all information are in the Tour Section.
