1. Who Are You & Where Are You based?

We are Heat From a DeadStar a trio based in London.

2. When Did You Form?

Prck and I first jammed in early 2004. We wrote the first songs of Heat From a DeadStar
the same year.

3. What Are Your Influences?

Aphex Twin (especially the "Ambient Works"), Sonic Youth, Swans, Yo La Tengo, Slowdive,
etc. Too many to be all cited here.

3. What Releases Can We Find from You?

We released our first self-titled EP in the beginning of 2005. The four tracks were recorded
live in studio in Belgium. Later in 2005, we recorded in London "Lighten Our Minds" our
second EP. The third record was a unique experience as we were only the two of us (Prck.
And Ph.) with a drum-machine. Still, I believe that "The Lighthouse" is our best recording
so far!

We are now working on our first album. The recording is scheduled for mid-January 2008 and
the album should be released in spring 08.

4. Why Do You Make Music?

Because we are musicians, before and after all. Moreover we like it.

5. What's The Best Thing That's Happened To You So Far?

To get the opportunity to record our first album with someone we truly respect.

6. What's The Worst Thing You Have Read About Yourself?

That we were considered as a "weird progressive band".

7. How Would You Describe Your Music?

Our music is catchy, aerial and really... loud.
